• March 1: Hixson-Lied Visiting Artist Lecture: Chotsani Elaine Dean. 5:30 p.m. Richards Hall Rm. 15. Free and open to the public. Dean is assistant professor of ceramics at the University of Minnesota and the co-author of the book, "Contemporary Black American Ceramic Artists" (Schiffer Publishing).

• March 1-9: Nebraska Repertory Theatre presents "Stop Kiss" by Diana Son. Studio Theatre, 1st floor of the Temple Building. For performance times and ticket information, visit https://nebraskarep.org. Directed by Keira Fromm. Sara leaves the Midwest on a fellowship to teach third grade in the Bronx and befriends Callie, a New York City native. An unexpected attraction develops between the two friends. Their first kiss provokes a shocking act of violence that transforms their lives in unexpected ways. "Stop Kiss" is surprisingly funny and deeply relevant.

• March 8: Hixson-Lied Visiting Artist Lecture: Kat Richards. 5:30 p.m. Richards Hall Rm. 15. Free and open to the public. Richards is a print media-based artist. Their work primarily
focuses on queer identity through metaphors of construction, deconstruction,
and indexical signaling. Currently, they are a visiting assistant professor in the printmaking area at the University of Arkansas.
