• Midwest Cup Show Choir Invitational. Jan. 12. All-day. Lied Center for Performing Arts. Tickets: $5 morning only or $10 afternoon/evening.

• Faculty Artist: Christopher Marks, organ, piano and harpsichord. Jan. 13 at 3 p.m. Kimball Recital Hall. Free. Featuring the music of J.S. Bach.

• Winter Festival for Winds and Percussion. Jan. 18-20 all day. Chamber Recital on Jan. 19 at 7:30 p.m. in Kimball Recital Hall. Free. Finale Concert on Jan. 20 at 3 p.m. in Kimball Recital Hall. Free.

• Photography Exhibition (in conjunction with Photofest) opens Jan. 22 and continues through Feb. 15 at the Eisentrager-Howard Gallery in Richards Hall. Free admission. A reception will be held on First Friday, Feb. 1 from 5-7 p.m. in the gallery.
