Leslie Harlow Gries' film "Landsend" is a 13-minute documentary about her father's experience as a bombardier in the Pacific theater during World War II.

• Leslie Harlow Gries (B.M.E. 1981) has her first film, "Landsend" on YouTube at https://youtu.be/lHyhByzvjH0?feature=shared. "Landsend" is a 13-minute documentary mixing excerpts from her father's mission journal as a 21-year-old bombardier in the Pacific theater during World War II, his photos from that time, family pictures and his later letters to Gries. She will be submitting it to film festivals in 2026.
