The Glenn Korff School of Music presents Karen Becker & Friends: A Cello-bration on Sunday, March 29 at 3 p.m. in Kimball Recital Hall. The concert is free and open to the public.
Join us for an unforgettable afternoon celebrating Professor of Cello Karen Becker and her combined 40 years of teaching as she celebrates her retirement from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. This special concert brings together more than 40 cellists for the concert finale and features cello quartets with many of her former students from across the decades.
Come join us for this extraordinary Cello-bration as we pay tribute to Becker’s legacy as both performer and teacher.
Becker’s career has taken her around the world as a soloist, chamber musician and teacher. She has toured regularly as a soloist and chamber musician, particularly as cellist of the Concordia String Trio.
