Jan. 17-28: "Emulsion" Exhibition featuring works by Amy Smith and Simon Levin. A reception will be held on Jan. 24 from 5-7 p.m. Gallery hours are Monday-Friday, 12:30-4:30 p.m.

Jan. 19-25: UNL hosts the Kennedy Center/American College Theatre Festival Region V conference.

Jan. 21: Faculty Artist William McMullen, oboe. 7:30 p.m. Kimball Recital Hall. Free. McMullen and Catherine Herbener, piano, will be presenting a recital of four works for oboe and piano by British composers from the Baroque era to the modern time. Works will be by Thomas Vincent (an oboist in the orchestras of Handel in London), York Bowen (a pianist of the mid-twentieth century), Andrew Downes (a composer in Birmingham writing about his experiences in India) and Malcolm Arnold (a witty composer of very popular wind music).

Jan. 25: Winter Winds/Percussion Chamber Groups. 7:30 p.m. Kimball Recital Hall. Free.

Jan. 26: Winder Winds/Percussion. 3 p.m. Kimball Recital Hall. Free.

Jan. 27: Festival of American Song. 7:30 p.m. Kimball Recital Hall. Tickets are $5 general and $3 for students and seniors, available at the door.

Jan. 29: Guest Artist: Dimitri Rachmanov, piano. 7:30 p.m. Kimball Recital Hall. Free.
