Entries are open through June 1 for the Department of Art and Art History's fourth annual Nebraska National Undergraduate Juried Art Exhibition.

The exhibition, which will run Sept. 4-25 in the Eisentrager-Howard Gallery, features the work of the best undergraduate students artists from across the country.

Each year different media disciplines are featured, and in 2015 the exhibition will feature sculpture, painting and drawing.

This year's jurors are Ebony Patterson in sculpture and Deborah Zlotsky in painting and drawing.

Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Patterson received her honors diploma in painting from the Edna Manley College for the Visual and Performing Arts and her MFA in printmaking/drawing from Sam Fox College of Art and Design at Washington University in St. Louis. Her recent exhibitions include "Us, We+Them" at Monique Meloche Gallery in Chicago; "En-Mas" at the Contemporary Art Center in New Orleans; and "Cheap and Clean--The Masculinities Interrogation Project," a multimedia interactive installation in multiple cities.

Zlotsky is a 2012 recipient of a New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship in painting and is represented by Kathryn Markel Fine Arts in New York. She exhibits her work in exhibitions across the country, and her drawings are in the curated flat files of Pierogi Gallery and The Boston Drawing Project at Joseph Carroll and Sons Gallery, as well as the online-curated registry at The Drawing Center. Her work was selected for New American Paintings in 2014 (Northeast edition). Zlotsky received a BA in Art History from Yale University and an MFA in Painting and Drawing from the University of Connecticut. She teaches at the Rhode Island School of Design.

The Howard Awards for Excellence will be presented, which include $1,000 for first place in each category and an additional $1,500 grand prize.
