Continuing through Aug. 7: "UNL Alumni Artists 1970-1974" exhibition at the Eisentrager-Howard Gallery in Richards Hall. An opening reception will be held on First Friday, June 5 from 5-7 p.m. in the gallery.. Visitors can stop by Rm. 120 of Richards Hall Monday-Friday, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. for access to the gallery during the summer. Admission to the gallery is free and open to the public.

June 7-12: Summer Art Institute for High School Students. UNL faculty and graduate students lead participants in workshops, guide them through Lincoln's vibrant art scene and introduce them to working artists in the their studios. Participants stay in a UNL residence hall. Registration is open until it is full. For more information, visit http://go.unl.edu/hodj.

June 7-12: Big Red Summer Academic Camps in Digital Arts and in Filmmaking for high school students. Registration is now closed. For more information, visit http://bigredcamps.unl.edu.

June 7-14: Chamber Music Institute. Lessons in performance, composition and entrepreneurship for college students, recent college graduates and international students. Registration is now closed. The final concert will be on Sunday, June 14 at 3 p.m. in Kimball Hall, which is free and open to the public.

June 14-17: Summer Strings Festival for high school students. Registration is now closed. A final concert will be held on Wednesday, June 17 at 3 p.m.

June 14-20: Nebraska Show Choir Camp for high school students. Registration is now closed. This is a week-long camp where students who love singing and dancing can perform with other talented students from around the Midwest.

June 22-27: International Thespian Festival. Every summer, thousands of high school thespians bring their love of all things theatre to the Thespian Festival, a celebration of student achievement in the arts. Organized by the Educational Theatre Association and hosted by UNL, the Festival is a one-of-a-kind, week-long immersion experience in singing, dancing, acting, designing, directing, creating and writing.
