
Dimitri Nakassis, Professor of Classics at the University of Colorado Boulder and 2015 MacArthur “Genius" Fellowship recipient, will be on campus to speak about his work using Reflectance Transformation Imaging (RTI) to digitize and study Late Bronze Age Greek documents (the so-called Linear B tablets). His visit to the University of Nebraska is sponsored by the Lincoln-Omaha Chapter of the Archaeological Institute of America (AIA).
Dimitri Nakassis will also present a lecture at Joslyn Art Museum in Omaha at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 29th.
