The Nebraska National Undergraduate Juried Art Exhibition is open for submissions

The School of Art, Art History and Design at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln announces the sixth annual Nebraska National Undergraduate Juried Art Exhibition. Entries will be accepted from May 12 to July 7, 2017. The exhibition will open on September 25, 2017 and will be on display through October 20th. Studio disciplines featured this year include Drawing, Painting, Sculpture and New Media. The juror will be art critic Robert Mahoney.

Robert Mahoney is a veteran New York based art critic who, for 20 years, provided weekly and monthly coverage of the New York art scene through Arts magazine, Flash Art, Art & Antiques, Art in America, New Art Examiner, Sculpture, TIME OUT New York, Artnet online, and numerous other publications. He also served as Public Information Officer of Queens Museum of Art from 1994-99. He currently manages his blogs, (RMarts.wordpress and RoMMerreviews, a review of horror movies by way of agency theory), is working on a book (Exposures: 50 Works of Art that Changed My Life) and writes for Flatlanders: a critical dialogue for Nebraska’s contemporary visual arts.
