•After hour key card access to Richards Hall and Woods Art Building will be granted to undergraduate students beginning Tuesday, August 29th. Regular building hours are 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. with the exception of home football game days. Both Richards Hall and Woods Art Building are locked during home football games.
• Fall Elgas Project Grant proposals are due to artgrants@unl.edu by 5pm on September 8, 2017. The Elgas Project Grants support degree-seeking undergraduate art majors by providing financial support for independent creative research projects. Supported projects will receive funding up to $750.00 based on the quality of applications submitted and funding availability. All work supported by an Elgas Project Grant must be exhibited in a public gallery. Acceptable venues include the MEDICI Gallery and the Eisentrager-Howard Gallery. Alternative spaces are also acceptable.
•Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts is recruiting for their internship program. The fall 2017 internship program runs from September–December, with a time commitment of 10–15 hours a week. The application deadline is August 28, 2017. Students can select Fall 2017, Spring 2018, or Summer 2018 as their preferred internship session on the application. Upcoming dates on the Academic Calendar:
• August 28- Last day for full semester course registrations and adds including adds of thesis or dissertation credits (Census Date).
• August 28- Last day to drop a full semester course and receive 100% refund.
• September 1- Last day to drop a full semester course and receive 75% refund.
• September 1- Last day to file a drop to remove a full semester course from student's record.
• September 2 thru November 10- All course withdrawals noted with a grade of "W" on academic record.
• September 4- Labor Day (Student and Staff Holiday-UNL offices closed).
