Exploring themes of time, relationship and journey, artists Pecos Pryor and James Hapke will embark on a performance project titled "A 24 Hours" at 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 26th in the Medici Gallery in Richards Hall. The performance consists of a 6' x 3' copper plate positioned in the middle of the gallery, like a table, and the two artist sitting at either end. The artists will spend 24 consecutive hours using various etching and engraving techniques to draw the other person into the copper plate.

The Medici Gallery will be open during the performance for visitors.

Pecos Pryor is a 3rd year MFA candidate in Printmaking at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and James Hapke holds an MFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
