The University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Clay Club and Fine Art Photo Club are holding their respective sales and raffles on Dec. 8th and 9th in Richards Hall. Clay Club and Fine Art Photo Club are Recognized Student Organizations.
Hours for both sales are Friday, Dec. 8 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 9 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. In addition, there will be a special collector’s tour of the work in the Clay Club sale on Friday, Dec. 8 at 8:30 a.m. The Clay Club sale will be in room 118 and the photo sale will take place in room 121. Cash, checks and credit cards will be accepted at both sales.
Both sales will include works of art created by graduate students, undergraduate students, alumni and faculty in the School of Art, Art History & Design representing a broad range of aesthetics, techniques and concepts.
Both organizations are also holding a raffle of work donated by students, faculty and selected local artists. Proceeds from the sales and raffles go to the artists as well as Clay Club and Fine Art Photo Club. Money raised is used to bring visiting artists to the community and sends students to regional or national conferences.
