It is time to consider nominations for vacancies on the College Promotion and Tenure Committee and the College Curriculum and Advising Committee. As per the by-laws, the Curriculum and Advising Committee has made the following nominations for the Promotion and Tenure Committee and the Curriculum and Advising Committee:

PROMOTION AND TENURE COMMITTEE
Area I, Social Sciences, one person to replace Kathleen Krone, Communication Studies
1. Brian Bornstein, Professor, Psychology,
2. Elizabeth Theiss-Morse, Professor, Political Science

Area II, Humanities, one person to replace Helen Moore, Sociology (position rotates between Social Sciences and Humanities)
1. Stephen Lahey, Associate Professor, Classics and Religious Studies
2. Oscar Pereira, Professor, Modern Languages and Literatures

CURRICULUM AND ADVISING COMMITTEE
Area I, Social Sciences, one person to replace Dona-Gene Mitchell, Political Science (position rotates between Social Sciences and Humanities)
1. Roland Vegso, Assistant Professor, English
2. To be determined

For all of the above vacancies, the Faculty may now make further nominations. Such nominations must be in writing and supported by the signatures of at least five members of the faculty.

All nominations are to be emailed to Associate Dean Debbie Minter at dminter1@unl.edu on or before Tuesday, March 18, 2014.
