Distance and Blended Education Spring 2014 Colloquium

I am requesting your assistance in sharing with your college information on the Spring 2014 Blended & Online Learning Colloquium: Supporting Research-Based Instructional Strategies with Technology, April 14th, Room 212/Unity Room, Jackie Gaughan Multicultural Center. The emphasis of this Colloquium is how a number of instructional strategies and technologies can be used in a variety of class environments (Fully Online, Blended, Flipped, In-person).

- Morning Session: 10:00 a.m. to 11:20 a.m.
Blending a large enrollment undergraduate course to bring hands-on active learning to the classroom. College of Architecture and the Raikes School

- Luncheon Session 11:30 a.m. to 1:20 p.m.
Teaching Creativity in a Fully Online Environment, Keynote Presentation by Professor Peter Lloyd, creator and instructor of the fully online “Design Thinking: Creativity for the 21st Century” for The United Kingdom Open University.

- Afternoon Session, 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Case Studies: Technology Supporting Research-based Instructional Strategies.
