Registration for the 13th annual UNL Summer Institute for Online Teaching is now open. Please share this information with any faculty who might be interested.
SIOT provides a unique teaching and learning environment, giving participants an online student experience; featuring examples from UNL online courses; integrating pedagogy, technology, & course design; and including weekly small group discussions facilitated by experienced online instructors from a range of disciplines.
Basic Info:
-Opening face-to-face session: Wednesday, May 14th
-Institute duration: 5 weeks, primarily online
-Intended audience: instructors new to online teaching, although those with experience have found it valuable
-Cost: free, textbooks provided
-Enrollment: limited – first-come, first-served
