Hosted by UNL's Quantitative Life Sciences Initiative and Holland Computing Center, and sponsored by Mutual of Omaha and the American Statistical Association, this year's event joins forces with participating universities across the country in the annual spring data event.
Teams of up to four undergraduates, assisted by graduate students, will work to find and share meaning in a large, rich, and complex dataset. After analyzing data provided by an industrial sponsor (to be announced at start of event), teams will present to a panel of judges to compete for Best in Show, Best Visualization, and Best Use of External Data. In addition to lots of swag and prizes, ASA Student Membership will be awarded to winning teams at each ASA DataFest event.
Spots are limited to 10 teams, sign up today ... https://bigdata.unl.edu/datapalooza-2018-0
