The University of Nebraska–Lincoln will host the Nebraska Plant Science Symposium 2026 on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Nebraska Innovation Campus Conference Center. This year’s theme, “Driving Innovation: New Frontiers in Plant Science 2.0,” will spotlight emerging technologies, transformative research, and sustainable innovations shaping the future of agriculture.

Part of the Corteva Symposia Series, the Nebraska Plant Science Symposium brings together undergraduate and graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, faculty, industry scientists, and professionals from across Nebraska and the Midwest. The 2026 program will feature plenary lectures, research presentations, panel discussions, and networking sessions focused on plant biology, crop protection, artificial intelligence in agriculture, breeding, genetics, and translational research that connects discovery to real-world impact.

The symposium places strong emphasis on student engagement and professional development. Participants will present their work in:
