
New Support Group Opportunity for Neurodivergent Students – Spring 2026
A new support opportunity is now available for UNL students who identify as neurodivergent or are exploring whether they may be. The Counseling and School Psychology Clinic (CPSC) is launching a Spring 2026 Neurodivergent Student Support Group designed to foster connection, community, and skill-building in a supportive environment.
This group is open to undergraduate and non-EDPS graduate students who self-identify, are exploring, or have been formally diagnosed as neurodivergent. This may include students on the autism spectrum, those with ADHD, learning disabilities, or other brain-based differences that impact cognition, communication, or executive functioning.
Program details:
- Location: Counseling and School Psychology Clinic (TEAC 50), Teacher’s College Hall
- When: Mondays, 6:00–7:30 PM
- Duration: 10–12 weeks (beginning as soon as possible)
- Cost: Flat rate of $75 total (approximately $6.25 per session)
- Financial assistance: Available for students with need
- Group size: Approximately 6–8 students
- Facilitators: Doctoral student clinicians supervised by licensed psychologists

About the Counseling and School Psychology Clinic:
The Counseling and School Psychology Clinic is one of three UNL mental health training clinics serving the campus and local community. Services are provided by graduate clinicians and include sliding-fee and financial assistance options. Additional campus training clinics include the Couple and Family Clinic and the Psychological Consultation Center.
