The 2019-2020 Graduate Awards & Fellowships were recently announced.
Several BSE students received awards.
Tyler Kozisek received the Graduate Student Excellence in Mentoring Award which recognizes graduate students who have demonstrated excellence in mentoring undergraduate and other graduate students in research and creative activities.
Agustin Olivo received the Outstanding Research & Creative Activities Award which recognizes excellence in graduate student research and creativity at Nebraska.
Meetpal Kukal received the Folsom Distinguished Doctoral Dissertation Award which recognizes the outstanding research and creative accomplishments of the university's doctoral students.
Maranatha Zelt received the Folsom Distinguished Master's Thesis Award which recognizes the outstanding research and creative accomplishments of the university's doctoral students.
Enshi Liu received the Fling Fellowship which is awarded to advanced masters or doctoral students.

Research Accomplishments of our Graduate Students
Graduate students have continued to publish their work. Two BSE students have had several publications among other awards and inventions.
Jacob Greenwood had several research accomplishments recently. Jacob was a part of several publications, won awards from the Barkley Trust, and co-invented a pTACS portable pneumotactile stimulator for critical care neurotherapeutics and neuroscience.
Mohsen Hozan was part of several publications.
