BSE faculty and student help in decision on Nebraska Innovation Campus' newest partner

Santosh Pitla and recent graduates, Josh Murman and Chandler Folkerts were a deciding factor in a Canadian company, JCA Electronics, decision to become the newest partner at Nebraska Innovation Campus.

JCA's vice president of engineering and general manager, Darcy Cook, said, “In meeting with Dr. Santosh Pitla and his graduate students, we could see there was a good alignment with their research and the type of systems we are developing at JCA."

With a strong research focus in the biological systems engineering program on autonomous agriculture machine applications, Pitla, Murman, and Folkerts showed JCA Electronics the benefits of partnering with Nebraska Innovation Campus.
