The BSE Graduate Student Association recently launched a BSE apparel sale to raise funds for the GSA. Everyone is welcome to purchase to help support the GSA and Biological Systems Engineering department.
The site is now open through October 16, 2020 visit go.unl.edu/bse-apparelf20 to view and purchase. Apparel will be delivered to campus and pickup/delivery details will be communicated. Questions about the sale can be sent to bsegsa@unl.edu.
About the BSE Graduate Student Association
BSE’s GSA provides programming for a community of graduate students across many disciplines of study and research. Many of the GSA’s events are designed to either encourage relationship building with other students, provide professional development instruction, or enable students to formulate their plans for life beyond grad school through the experiences of faculty and staff within the University and those outside the University within the industry.
The GSA aims to build relationships and a greater sense of belonging on campus. It offers students great opportunities to get to know one another and participate in activities throughout the year. Many students have expressed their gratitude for the club.
The GSA has many plans for this year, one being to bring back the BSE GSA potluck in the spring (pending COVID restrictions) to share cuisine from the many cultures represented in the BSE graduate student and faculty community.
The apparel fundraiser is the GSA’s biggest fundraiser of the year. The GSA is a relatively new club, so it is building up funds to use for club activities and events.
