Holiday party set to dazzle this Thursday

.
.

The BSE holiday party, set for 6 to 8:30 p.m. Dec. 14 at the Hillcrest Country Club, will include a taco bar, international celebrities Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus, and a chance for professors and graduate students to wreak revenge on the support staff, who walloped them in last year's trivia contest.

Professor Amy Schmidt will be emceeing this year's trivia contest and is compiling the questions. (No unfair leaks to other professors, Dr. Schmidt!)

One table may already have an unfair advantage if Santa Claus and his wife show up in time for contest. (No peeking into his crystal ball!)

The staff has Tracy Zimmerman and her worldly connections to thank for the appearance of the North Pole natives. Turns out Zimmerman has worked with both Clauses in the past. No elves are expected.

Anyone who wants to imbibe in the more fiery holiday spirits can do so starting at 6 p.m. at the cash bar.

The taco bar opens at 6:30 p.m. Everyone is asked to bring a favorite dessert for the dessert table.

Tickets to this celebration of the red and green are still available. Would-be revelers should turn in their green ($12 per person) to Amber Patterson.
