One high school sophomore and about 20 juniors and seniors and their parents attended last Tuesday's E2 Day, event organizer Jenna Hefley reported.
E2 Day is an annual recruitment event that exposes high school students to the Biological Systems Engineering degree programs.
Students learn how biological systems engineers work in the biomedical, environmental, water resources, food processing, and bioenergy fields. The students also get exposure to how agricultural engineers design and create technology and equipment to sustainably use water and environmental resources.
