I am originally from Lincoln. My mom is a 40-year employee with UNL, and I attended the university for my undergrad degree. After graduating, I moved to Springfield, MO, where I met my husband. I lived there until 2016, when my husband's job took us to Des Moines, IA. Another job change for my husband brought our family to Lincoln in July 2019.
What is it they say you do:
When my children ask what I do, I tell them that I help people who don't have homes find places to live. It's obviously more complicated than that, but I think that's the best way to sum it up.
