"This might not be the safest choice, but if I could go back in time (just to visit) I’d probably choose the late Jurassic period. It was a time when Pangea began to break apart, plant life had evolved to beyond just mosses, small mammals began to evolve, and of course several dinosaur species were roaming the Earth. Dinosaurs like Brachiosaurus, Stegosaurus, and Pterosaurs were still cruising around before that pesky asteroid. Obviously I never grew out of my childhood love of dinos. My other answer would have been New York in the 70s when the art and music scene were REALLY happening… but it was incredibly unsafe. Apparently, I don’t have a lot of concern for my own safety.
