Workplace Wellness: Forward to Fall

Following the recommendations of directed health measures and the university, most staff are being asked to continue social distancing and work remotely as much as possible through July. However, with the return of students and in-person instruction in the fall, additional health and safety guidelines have been rapidly put into place by university leadership.

On June 18th, Chancellor Green shared UNL's Forward to Fall: Guiding Framework, a 10-page outline for campus health and safety. It is available here: https://covid19.unl.edu/guiding-framework. We would highly recommend all CCFL staff familiarize themselves with this important information.

While adhering to local directed health measures and university guidelines, CCFL will be resuming workplace routines based on the health and safety needs of individual staff members and the on-site and in-person requirements for continuing the crucial ongoing work of each of CCFL's projects.

CCFL's Workplace Wellness and the Safety Committee wish to promote and provide the best possible health and safety measures for staff as we move toward returning to the office and resuming in-person workplace activities.

To facilitate this effort, we are jointly asking CCFL staff to participate in a voluntary and completely anonymous staff survey. We will be sending out the link through CCFL's listserv to keep it secure. Please take a few minutes and help us by completing this short, anonymous survey.

We look forward to hearing your honest feedback, suggestions, and ideas for how CCFL can meet staff needs and operate as safely as possible. CCFL's mission has always been to "help the helpers," which includes helping each other stay healthy and safe as we move forward to fall.

In the meantime, here's wishing each of you a happy, healthy, safe, and sunshine-filled summer!
