Workplace Wellness: CCFL and COVID-19

All-Staff Meeting
All-Staff Meeting

Here are a few highlights to keep in mind:
• All employees and guests must follow the safety protocols outlined in UNL’s Forward to Fall: Guiding Framework.
• University COVID-19 signage will be posted throughout the 9th and the 10th floor of the office.
• All employees and guests will be required to wear a face covering in the office. For guests that do not have a face covering, a disposable face mask will be provided. Anyone medically unable to wear a face covering will be asked to wear a face shield.
• De-escalation tactics should be utilized for any issues with non-compliance (please see link below). A graphic with proactive and positively-framed talking points is being formulated and will be shared and kept at the front desk. If de-escalation tactics prove inadequate, the UNL police can be called should the situation warrant it.
• Every staff member will receive two cloth university masks. We should receive them in August.
• CCFL is looking into the possibility of offering CCFL branded masks as well.
• UNL liquid hand sanitizer is currently available on both floors in a gallon container with a pump dispenser.
• Safety Committee is working on purchasing no-touch wall units that dispense a small spray for more precise dispensing of liquid hand sanitizer throughout the office.
• Staff are encouraged to continue working remotely as much as possible through August and until further notice.
• Staff members working in the field can request UNL COVID-19 Wellness Supplies by emailing Mindy Liebelt.
• A social distance of six feet is recommended between people at all times while in the office.
• To help with de-densifying efforts by reducing the number of people in an area by one-third at any given time, we will continue using the Google spreadsheet to schedule time in the office.
