What are some of your favorite holiday traditions (even if they may look different this year)?

"Holiday Traditions include: making cookies with my daughter, Dakota; going to mid-night mass; and listening to my grandson say, after every gift he opens, 'It's my favoritess'." -Paulette S.

"Typically each year we watch the entire Harry Potter series on DVD over the course of Christmas Eve to New Years Day. My son and I would always open our gifts on Christmas Eve because we went and visited family on Christmas, this year we will be staying home but will still open our annual movie party gift which will contain a set of pjs and some movie snacks. During the Harry Potter movie extravaganza, we also try to have theme related foods i.e. Butter Beer Hot Chocolate, Golden Snithces (AKA Ferrero Rocher), pretzel & cheese broomsticks etc.

The other big holiday tradition is that when I purchase gifts for my son I use these rules: something he wants, something he needs, something to wear, and something to read. We have done this since he was about 7 or 8, he is 20 now but I still try and use these rules.

With the arrival of my granddaughter, I have added an Advant book calendar and we have been reading her a new book each day, she may not understand this year but as the years go by she will." - Angel S

"Every year we bake cookies, decorate the tree while drinking eggnog and watching a marathon of classic Christmas movies, drive around and look at holiday lights, and read the Christmas story before opening gifts." -Cassie R.
