Question: What was the highlight of your holiday break?
"Going to New Mexico to see my oldest son, his wife, and my grandson – Henry Joe! He is growing so fast and it’s hard to be so far away from him!" -Joyce S.
"So, two things: 1)watching grandson open presents on a zoom call, and 2) having the time at home to go through my clothes and purge (5 tall kitchen garbage bags to Goodwill and 1 box to sister in Montana). Yay!!" -Barb S.
"My highlight was quality, unhurried time with my immediate family. We really enjoyed the snow and sledding – not having to drive around in the mess was nice too. While I missed not seeing family and friends like usual, the extended break was welcomed and actually felt restorative!" -Kate S.
"There were so many things that happened this holiday break. It started with a surgery that was much needed. I know not much of a highlight but it was necessary AND it was cancelled a couple times before so I was a little worried that it wouldn’t happen until after the new year. We also moved over the holiday break. My family was growing out of the home we had in Kearney so we found a bigger house in a small community close to Kearney. I guess the highlight of it all was I was not able to help with the move due to my surgery. Lol" -Cody S.
