To create the safest possible environment for in-person classes and activities in the Spring Semester, UNL is using minimally invasive, saliva-based testing for COVID-19 and pairing it with a new app called Safer Community for all faculty, staff, and students. Testing opened on January 19th, and enforcement begins today, January 25th. A new test is required every ten days for campus building access. As a follow-up to Eve’s email on January 11th, we will discuss how this affects CCFL at our All-Staff Meeting this Wednesday, January 27th.
Detailed testing information and instructions can be found here: https://covid19.unl.edu/spring-testing.
