For Early Childhood Mental Health (ECMH), NRPVYC provides therapist training programs in Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), supports a community of practice for ECMH therapists, and offers outreach and training on ECMH to court and early childhood professionals. For Reflective Practice, NRPVYC's Nebraska Center on Reflective Practice (NCRP) utilizes the FAN model of reflective practice developed by the Erikson Institute to deliver training and reflective consultation to early childhood, child welfare, and court professionals. For Court Infusion, the NRPVYC develops, assesses, and supports projects in juvenile courts across Nebraska to improve outcomes for young children in foster care.
"What excites me about our work with reflective practice is that it helps people where they are and therefore is broadly applicable. It addresses the internal workings of each person, and its effect can go far beyond improved performance in the office to positively impact a person’s life holistically." -Kelli Hauptman, Project Director
