Continuum of Care Planning Assistant

Work Description:
Be the primary point of contact for all Balance of State (BoS) and Lincoln Continuum of Care (LNK CoC) planning and coordinating activities. Coordinate meetings, create agendas with input from the Project Director and Housing Innovations Technical Assistance provider, maintain contacts and email listings, distribute meeting documents, disseminate information relevant to the CoCs mission of ending and preventing homelessness, research and review regulations and HUD directives, and generate summaries for review by the CoC; assist with the preparation of the CoC applications, communicate with grantees, coordinate regional CoC activities.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Community/Regional Planning or a closely related field plus two years' relevant experience in an administrative/planning role.

Preferred Qualifications:
Ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Social Sciences, Community/Regional Planning or a closely related field. Plus professional experience in administrative planning within the human services field, and ideally with homeless assistance.
