The 9th annual Project Homeless Connect event was held on October 11, 2017 at the Pinnacle Bank Area. There were over 250 Volunteers, and more than 400 guests were served.

Some of the services that were provided during this event were:
Bike Repairs-20 guests
Health Exams-40 exams
Haircuts-97 guests
STD tests-28 tests
Dental Screenings-55 guests, of those 50 guests were given a pass to the free dental clinic which will take place in November.

This year there was an expanded Animal area which provided the following services:
Vacinations-30 pets were seen, included were 3 ferrets and 1 parrot who had his toe nails clipped-this made for an interesting time as the parrot was not a very happy bird!
Light Grooming-9 pets
Multiple leashes and collars were given out as well as a cat carrier.
Pet Food Bank applications were provided for 11 pets and Lincoln Animal Ambassadors provided voucher information for 16 pets.
