Who are you and who are the members of your team?
It’s just me and two part-time graduate students, Jessie Peter and Toni Morgan
How long has your project been around?
The project started for me last spring. Michelle Graef and her team are working on an evaluation of a different part of this larger project, and they were asked to take on the inter-country and private adoption portion. Michelle graciously asked if I would be interested, and I was able to propose the project and get to work on this very interesting work.
What are you currently working on?
I’m working on a small piece of a much larger project. For my small piece, we are interviewing parents across five states who have been involved in adoption intervention programs. The parents have all adopted privately or inter-country.
Any new or exciting things to know about your project or team (personal or work-related)?
It took a while to get ourselves going and understand all the different sites and what they were doing for their interventions. But, now we’ve been conducting interviews for about a month and getting some interesting feedback.
What are you hoping to accomplish during the next year?
We hope to continue to interview all of the parents who are willing to talk to us.
