What is the best volunteer experience you have had?
Project Lincoln. Several churches in Lincoln collaborated on repair/cleaning/refurbishing projects all over the city. We worked in schools, neighborhoods, parks, homes wherever a need was identified. It went on for several years. -Mark Ells
My best volunteer opportunity is our annual Winter Festival for St. Luke's School in Ogallala. I always help with the food. It's a really good time, and we raise a lot of money which goes directly to funding new school purchases. -Allison Jones
In 2014, Pilger, NE was hit hard by a tornado. I was able to assist in the clean-up process and it was a sad and humbling experience. The people of that community were so kind and so thankful to have us there volunteering and I was so thankful that I was able to and this is why it makes it the best experience I’ve had volunteering! -Angie Graham
