Many tears, laughs, and stories were shared at Jan's Retirement Party this past Wednesday. Jan started off with a presentation on what family means to her. The second part focused on her life and what she has all accomplished along the way.
Jan opened her gift, a traveler's bag, from her CCFL family. The highlight of the party was when Jan opened her last gift, a letter from the Dean informing Jan of her Professor Emeritus Status. Thank you, Eve and Kathy, for making this possible.
About 15 individuals attended the after-party at The Oven to enjoy some delicious food and drinks. Jan surely knows how to gather a crowd for some celebrating. And may I add, the chocolate cake was amazing too!
