Project Homeless Connect Lincoln/Standdown (for Veterans) is coming up Tuesday, October 16th at Pinnacle Bank Arena. We are in need of 300 volunteers! Typically a couple colleges send about 150 students and they happen to be on Fall Break. So, I’m rolling with the idea of “it takes a village” and am trying to spread the word as far and wide as possible!
If you can share this link with anyone you feel would be a great volunteer for the day, that would be great! Family, friends, church groups, leadership groups, workplaces you frequent, etc. PLEASE share. It really is a rewarding and eye-opening day!

Also, we are expanding Pet care this year and are in need of veterinarians and vet techs. If you know of one who would be willing to come help out for a couple hours or a whole day from 10-3 pm, Abby or I can get you connected with the person arranging these services.
