This week’s question was:
What is the best April Fool's joke you’ve ever pulled/had pulled on you?
In college – went into my girlfriend's dorm room and turned all her books, pictures, items on her desk, clothes in her drawers, sheets on her bed, shower caddy supplies…EVERYTHING…upside down. Only thing we DIDN’T turn upside down was her pet gecko in her cage. –Angela Gebhardt
My dad was born on April fool’s day. He was a twin. His mother called her mother and told her – she thought it was an April fool’s joke until the next day when she went to the hospital and saw two newborns. –Matt Carlson
Only at CCFL…..
It was here at work and Tari Miller and I were in the kitchen. There was a ketchup packet and I said “Let’s play a joke on Jessie! So we took a napkin and put the ketchup in it and made it seem that Tari had cut her hand when cutting something and then Tari went by the office and I said, “We need to take Tari to the hospital.” Jessie immediately jumped up and grabbed her keys and purse and was charging down the hallway to help Tari. Then, we told her it was just a joke. -Charlie Lewis, AKA the Prankster
Oh gosh! I was in my office meeting with a co-worker (Mitch). Suddenly, Charlie and another co-worker (Tari) appear in my doorway. Charlie yells “Jessie! Tari cut her hand! We need to get her to the ER!” Tari stood next to Charlie, her hand was wrapped with paper towels, some blood leaking through. Tari’s face was red and tears were streaming out of her eyes, and she was shaking with pain. I said something like “oh no!” and grabbed my car keys. I literally pushed Mitch into the wall on my way out of my office and then… I realized Tari’s red face, tears and shaking were due to her trying to hide her laughter. Charlie’s very convincing, very concerned face instantly changed to a giant smile. They unwrapped Tari’s hand to produce a ketchup packet. They pulled a good one, I had been totally fooled. They both were proud of their joke. To this day, I laugh thinking back on it and the idea of the two of them planning it. Also, I did apologize to Mitch for pushing him out of my path, lol. –Jessie Cook, AKA the Pranked
