This week’s Word on the Street question was:
You have just won the lottery, what would you do with the money?
I wish for this all the time, but I hear you have to play to win…hahaha. Here are some of my thoughts, as of today: Help family out (bio and work), Tithe to my church, Buy a new Harley-my own, Travel to Australia, Donate to Breast Cancer Awareness, and Save for retirement travels. –Shelly Johnson
I would pay off my house, and travel, travel, travel. I’d travel to Germany, France, England, Iceland, Australia, just to name a few. I’d give some money to my family and church. Of course, I’d set up a fund that only CCFL could use. –Charlie Lewis
I would go to Vegas and blow it all. –Chad Gressley
Retire! Pay off all our debts/loans etc. Travel and have fun with my hubby and family!! –Joyce Starke
I would start a non-profit that helps families access school choice who cannot afford it. I would also definitely travel the world with my husband and children. –Jamie Bahm
I tend not to dream about things that have a 0% chance of happening, so I may be one of the only people who hasn’t thought about this much. In general, I know that the philosophy of effective altruism would guide me in deciding how to use and create evidence-based strategies to make a meaningful difference in reducing inequality and supporting underserved individuals and communities.
