
As some of you know, we've been wanting to hire a part-time outreach specialist at CCFL. As luck would have it, our own Mindy Liebelt is perfectly suited for this position. Mindy has training and experience in public relations and communications and will start in this new role on July 2nd.
Because the new position is only half-time, Mindy will still be helping with the training grant and will still be in our main reception area --you don't have to say goodbye to the treats, decorations, or any of her other special touches! She is in the process of hiring some part-time help with some of her former duties so she can devote some of her time to her new outreach and communication activities.
This is a new position for CCFL, so there will be some time needed to figure out how best to use Mindy's skills for CCFL's needs. The main tasks she will be doing will include managing, editing, and/or creating internal and external communications including web content, social media, reports, brochures, presentations, press releases, news articles, and award nominations.
