Geisinger named President-Elect of International Test Commission

Dr. Kurt F. Geisinger, Wes Meierhenry Professor of Education and Director of the Buros Center for Testing, was recently named president-elect for 2018-2020 during the 10th Conference of the International Test Commission (ITC) General Meeting in Vancouver, Canada on July 2, 2016. Geisinger currently serves as ITC Treasurer. ITC leadership, comprised of officers and council members, is elected by members of the association every two years. His term as president will begin in July of 2018 at their next convention in Montreal, Canada. The ITC is an “Association of national psychological associations, test commissions, publishers and other organizations committed to promoting effective testing and assessment policies and to the proper development, evaluation and uses of educational and psychological instruments.” (ITC Directory, 2001).
