CEHS Staff Council Giving Challenge

The CEHS Staff Council is sponsoring a 2016 CEHS Giving Challenge to support OpeN Shelf at UNL. The Challenge will begin on Monday, Nov. 7 and end on Wednesday, Nov. 23. OpeN Shelf is a University of Nebraska-Lincoln initiative administered by the Lutheran Center to help Husker students in need by providing students with hygiene products, and also food products and other food bank sources. OpeN Shelf is a free service that strives to retain the anonymity of students visiting or utilizing the service. While OpeN Shelf is located in the Lutheran Center, the pantry is available for all persons in the UNL community regardless of age, race, gender identity or religious affiliation.

Below is a list of needed items. Donations will be collected at the Educational Administration office (141 TEAC) on city campus, or at the CEHS Dean’s Office (105 HECO) on east campus. Each CEHS faculty or staff member who participates in the 2016 Giving Challenge will be entered in a drawing for chair massages at a later date. Winners will be announced at the CEHS Staff Holiday Luncheon on 12/21/16 and shared college-wide after the event. If there are questions, please contact Melanie Kellogg at mkellogg1@unl.edu or 472-9359.
