The Methodology Applications Series continues Friday, Nov. 3 with a presentation by Stephen Scott, associate professor of computer science and engineering. He will discuss "An Introduction to Machine Learning" from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Nebraska Union, room Colonial B.
The presentation will cover a basic introduction to many fundamentals and applications of machine learning. Machine learning is a method of data analysis based on the premise that machines can learn through experience.
The presentation is free, open to the public and requires no registration.
