Hello Chemistry Rockstars!
We are now two thirds of the way through the Fall 2025 semester and I know this stretch can feel especially busy. Between exams, projects, and enrollment for spring classes from October 27 to November 11, it is normal to feel a bit worn down. Take a moment to breathe, you have come so far already, and there is still plenty of time to lock in and finish strong. Use these next few weeks to steady your routine, stay focused, and reach out for support if you need it. Thanksgiving Break from November 27 to 30 is right around the corner, and Winter Break on December 20 will be here before you know it.

This Week, Consider:

  • Meet with me/ an Academic Advisor, if you still need help enrolling (Schedule Here)
  • Review your current grades. If you are confident you will not pass a class(es), you may consider withdrawing by the deadline, Friday, November 14. *It is encouraged to talk with an Academic Advisor and Husker Hub prior to withdrawing.
  • Visit office hours or tutoring centers to clarify tricky concepts before finals season ramps up.
  • Back up your electronic notes (ie, Microsoft OneDrive or GoogleDrive) and organize your files so your future self will thank you come finals week.
  • Take time to recharge by grabbing coffee with a friend, rewrite your to-do list, enjoy the crisp fall weather, or celebrate how far you have come this semester.

Enrollment for Spring 2026:

  • Register ASAP: Classes are beginning to fill. Please register as soon as you are able to save seats. You can always tweak your schedule later. The last day to change your spring schedule, if needed, is January 20 for full-semester classes
  • After enrolling: Run a new Degree Audit to ensure your classes count how you intended
