
Stowers Summer Scholars Program
An Intensive Research Internship for Students Interested in a Research Career
The Stowers Summer Scholars Program offers an immersive 8-week research experience at the Stowers Institute, where students work alongside world-class scientists in a dynamic laboratory environment. Scholars conduct full-time research under expert mentorship, attend weekly seminars on cutting-edge topics, and present their findings at an all-Institute poster session.
Program Highlights:
• Guided Research: Work on a research project within a Stowers lab under the mentorship of experienced scientists.

• Financial Support: Receive a $5,000 stipend, round-trip travel, and furnished accommodations.

Development & Cell Biology | Regeneration | Genetics & Genomics | Neuroscience | Systems Biology | Evolutionary Biology | Microbiology | Plant Biology
Program Requirements:
• Full-time availability for the entire 8-week program
• Completed at least one year of undergraduate studies
• 18 years of age or older
• Enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree-granting program in biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, genetics, chemistry, physics, computing, engineering, mathematics, or a related field
