UNL Volunteer Income Tax Assistance

The UNL Tax Credit Campaign is holding a free U.S. resident tax return service at the East Union in January and February. Volunteers help prepare income tax returns and answer tax-related questions prior to the April 15 filing deadline.

The service is open to faculty, staff and students.

Service hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, and 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday during month of February.

Items needed to complete tax forms include: a photo ID; Social Security card; W-2, 1098-T, 1099 and any other tax documents; and bank information.
