Lincoln non-profits are in need of extra help this summer! With many college students leaving Lincoln for the summer, most agencies will loose a majority of their long-term volunteers. If you are in the Lincoln area for the summer and looking for a service experience, check some of these amazing organizations. To find out more about these organizations, go to engage.unl.edu. On the red bar near the top right, go to Act, and then click on Serve/Learn. In the middle of the new page on the left-hand side in the Serve and Learn box, click on Non-Profit Search. Search key words of the demographic you are interested such as “children,” “low-income,” or “animal.” A list will appear of Lincoln non-profits who deal with or focus on that group. Click on the organization (in red) that you are interested for their contact information and more details. We hope to see you engaged in the community all summer long!
