Seeking students to assist with Harvest Moon Festival

Background: Across Asian cultures, it is tradition to hold a mid-Autumn festival. Such celebrations often coincide with the full moon. Join the Asian Community and Cultural Center in appreciating these cultural traditions. Activities will include: Festival games, Educational booths, Decorating lanterns, Writing wishes to hang on lanterns, Traditional music and dance performances, Delicious Asian cuisines, A lantern lighting ceremony at dusk. With 700 participants last year, the Harvest Moon Festival made the front page of the Lincoln Journal Star newspaper.

What: We are looking for volunteers to help with:
-Set up: 1pm-4pm ; 15 volunteers
-Activities: 4pm-8pm; 10 volunteers
-Break down: 7:30pm - 9pm (ish); 15 volunteers
Students who assist all day with receive a t-shirt and all volunteers will get to sample delicious Asian cuisines and enjoy cultural performances!!!
When: September 17, 4pm-8pm

We will begin loading materials and equipments from the center
