The Rural Futures Institute (RFI) at the University of Nebraska is seeking talented, passionate NU student leaders in a variety of disciplines to serve rural Nebraska communities this summer through RFI Student Serviceship.

RFI Student Serviceship connects students to rural communities, leaders and mentors, while giving them resume-building work and insight into the career and life opportunities in rural places. A hybrid between service learning and traditional internships, “serviceships” also provide communities with tangible results on important self-defined projects.

Please share this opportunity with your students as well as your college and department newsletters ASAP! The application Deadline is March 1, 2017.
