Sustain UNL and the student-led Sustainability Committee at UNK are jointly hosting a one-day conference about climate change in Nebraska. The primary focus is to involve students and community members in an open and positive discussion. All are welcome!

The event will be at the University of Nebraska-Kearney student union, and will feature a host of speakers and panelists, with plenty of time for engagement with representatives of agriculture, academia, climate science, municipal utilities, and legislative action.

Guests include Graham Christensen of RegeNErate Nebraska; co-author of the latest National Climate Assessment Dr. Martha Shulski; Deb Gangwish of the Nebraska Corn Growers Association; and Lucas Sabalka of the Lincoln chapter of Citizens' Climate Lobby to speak about legislation moving through Congress. Lunch will be included.

Registration for the event is due by March 24 at Event Bright. eventbright.com. Cost is $25 per person or $15 per student.
